Retail Tomorrow 2019

7th-8th March 2019

Igniting ideas and accelerating innovation

Our ground-breaking retail conference Retail Tomorrow goes from strength to strength and is back for its third successful year. Taking place on 7th – 8th March and once again hosted at the Four Seasons in Hampshire. We’re pleased to announce our three overarching themes for this year:

  • Redefining the role of trust in retail: While trust levels in politicians and the media falls, consumer are increasingly likely to put their trust in brands. But what does this really mean for retailers today? And what should they do about it?
  • The interconnectivity imperative: To drive the difference that makes a difference, retailers need to deliver a seamless experience across channels, people, platforms and processes. We’ll define what ‘joined-up’ and interconnected looks like.
  • Experiential retail: With customer experience all-important, the renaissance of the physical store continues and the associated importance of smart tech in-store grows and grows. Industry leaders look at the future of the store, including fresh insights from NRF.

Innovations Now

Securely Monetise your Business

If you have a highly distributed enterprise with many remote sites, how long can you afford the cost and complexity of a legacy WAN? Are today’s business challenges driving you toward a more secure, flexible, and agile network?

A cloud-based network drastically reduces IT costs while enabling you to quickly adapt to ever-changing market conditions. That’s why enterprises around the globe trust the CyberaONE Solution to transform both their IT infrastructure and their business.

No matter what industry you’re in, Cybera provides a reliable secure network to deliver the leading-edge apps, services, and IoT devices,  agile business’s demand, future proofing you, whilst increasing footfall and basket size, in a cost effective “as a service”  manner.

Neptune Software and EINR present POS9

In an era of Cloud Solutions and omnichannel demands, POS systems have remained architected to function as individual silos with a typical Client Server architecture.  Integration to the backend, access to complete and near real-time data across multiple retail outlets and channels is difficult to accomplish and manage.  We will present an innovative new POS system which is built on Neptune's DX Platform.  This system represents a significant innovation in the Retail Industry - a POS solution born to run on any platform, on-line or off-line, easy to personalize and enable real omnichannel orchestration.

Transforming customer experience with a cloud-based POS solution

There are two types of customers to a physical store; the first kind want to be in and out as quickly as they can, the second kind want the 'personal shopper' experience with staff on hand to help them make their purchase.

Whether it’s integrated self-service checkouts or a mobile POS solution store employees can use on the shop floor, transforming the in-store experience for these customers is imperative for any dynamic, forward thinking retailer who wants to build a scalable platform for long term success. And this is what’s possible with Sitoo, the cutting-edge retail point of sale solution.

Realise your digital transformation goals quicker with (cyber)security automation

Embedding security and automating processes is critical to realising you digital goals. Whether you are moving your IT to cloud hyper-scalars like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, or optimising UX through new Apps or IOT devices, the security principals remain the same. Security automation creates operational efficiencies and makes security effective in aligning to business goals. Here’s how.

Ascension Cloud

In today’s climate, retailers are finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the demands of optimising and digitising operations, making a profit, reporting, and the list goes on, but what about the unsexy functions back of house – your engine rooms?

We’ve heard it all before, “Work smarter, not harder”, but maintaining the health of your operational ecosystem can be a nightmare. Managing operational dependencies, data transparency and visibility over all assets and services is key and implementing software that offers powerful insights enables businesses to make smarter decisions, reduce waste and reallocate precious resource. By arming yourself with Ascension Cloud you can revolutionise the way you do things in real-time and enhance the performance of your ecosystem.

Retail Survival Plan - Maximising the retail experience with a happy workforce

In the face of a Brexit-aggravated staff shortages, it is key for retailers to take imminent steps to attract, engage and retain their staff. Creating a seamless and engaging retail experience is becoming keys in store success and store employees play a crucial role in delivering it - as such a happy & motivated workforce is more important than ever before.

Our new UK-wide research found that staff shortages, as a by-product of poor retention and inability to recruit staff currently results in a reduction of growth and productivity for retailers by an average of 8.5%.

But it doesn't have to be this way, with the right tools and technology in place, retailers can improve productivity, save time, reduce costs - but above all boost employee retention and happiness.
